My recent stay, my second at this serene oasis in Ubud, reinforced its exceptional position right in the heart of the action while maintaining an atmosphere of tranquility. The garden, complete with a calming waterfall, provides an escape from the bustling streets. Despite the absence of air conditioning, the ceiling fan ensures a comfortable temperature, complemented by ample options for tea and coffee, courtesy of the well-equipped kitchenette. The terrace, with its inviting daybed, is perfect for morning reflections or working immersed in nature. The attentive staff were instrumental in arranging necessary items promptly and offered valuable insights about local attractions. While location is a factor to consider due to limited car access, the proximity to shops, markets, and eateries compensates significantly. Offering excellent value, White Lotus is a strategic choice for those seeking both luxury and affordability in Ubud.
